Samantha Fox - Vocals, Guitar, and Sassy Tambourine

Samantha Fox is no stranger to the music scene of West Virginia. You may have seen her name before from when she was featured as the vocalist for Jabberwocky, a force in the music scene of WV. Born into a musical family in Elkins WV, she had no choice but to carry on the family addiction of putting on a show! Her grandparents were bluegrass musicians, and she had some rock and roll parents, so she's been singing since she could talk! Heavily influenced by all types of music, especially the vocalists and musicians of the 90s, you'll frequently see her and "Miss Blues" (her favorite PRS S2 Semi Hollow Guitar) belting out everything from Alice in Chains to BTS. Get ready to experience a whirlwind of music ranging from grunge, blues, singer/songwriter, and even K Pop! When she's not working on new music with her Hound Dogs, she's brewing her own beer (yes, it's delicious) or keeping up on the multiple languages she studies. *We cannot verify that she knows Korean as none of us speak it except for her*
Steven Brown - Guitar

Born in Huntington WV in 1994 and playing guitar since 2001, Steven has always been a fan of the music scene in WV. When going to shows, he ends up taking notes more than anything as he loves playing out! His first emergence onto the scene in Huntington came when he was 15, and was sneaking into bars with his band to play gigs at the time (shoutout to what used to be the Thirsty Whale on 4th Ave). He ended up getting brought in to Huntington/Ona natives District 17 as their second guitar player. After recording an EP with the group at Trackside Studios, their progress was placed on hold as one member moved and one had joined the armed forces. After the hiatus of District 17, he took a position playing guitar for The Secret Arrangement of Proctorville, OH, of which he later had to excuse himself from while he was in the midst of planning his wedding in July 2019. February of 2020, he ran into Samantha on a flight to Tampa who had offered to have him come sit in with the Hound Dogs since she lived right up the street, and was later brought on as their guitar player!
Matt Hill - Bass & Vocals

Another veteran of the West Virginia music crowd, Matt Hill first broke out into the scene with the band Lowground, formed by 3 friends in 1991. Lowground played together on and off over the course of 14 years. During their tenure, they recorded a CD of original music that opened up the door to opportunity. They had the chance to meet and play for many national acts including Kansas, Dr. Hook, Molly Hatchet, and Blackfoot over the next several years. Following the disbanding of Lowground, Matt played with several local bands. He is currently a member of not only Samantha Fox And The Hound Dogs, but also a founding member of The Secret Arrangement Band which are good friends of ours!
